Favorite Instrument?

So what's your favorite instrument?
I love guitar but I'm highly impressed by the piano/keyboard, flute, and even the horn!

Id have to go with piano, so much expression. Also, the human voice (if that counts)

The human voice definitely counts and I'm glad you mentioned it, I'm surprised I didn't actually, it's something I'd normally mention.

To play, or in general?
Because the only instrument that I have any experience with would be Bass guitar, while I love Bass I would have to say in general a normal guitar has brought me so much joy because of the wide range of music I've heard it in.
But banjo and mandolin are close too, along with the sitar, I would like to one day learn to play any one of these.
Also I need to get a djembe, I miss playing on my friends one.

^^ theres always that one guy xD
but i love playing trombone. I have been a first chair trombone in school since 5th grade and have toured with the Wyoming Ambassadors of Music all over Europe.
I also play keys for a little Garage band xD
And although it isn't an actual instrument, i love using synths. The endless possibilities of the sounds you can make is just fascinating to me.
Also, heres a little snippet of some music i make:

A lot harder then I thought it would be. I was told that I'm a natural but some of the sounds I make are not so pretty.

Are you a natural at violin technique, or are you good at tone production, or reading sheet music ?

At violin technique. My tone isn't so good, my instructor thinks it the violin. It's a cheap violin.

I'm considering upgrading to a better violin soon but am hesitant because I do not know much about the monetary worth of violins. The one I have now I got for $160.00 from a pawn shop. I also just don't know at what point in my growth as a musician does it become justified to get a better instrument.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I figured I would learn as much as I could with this instrument and upgrade later.

Its not your growth that should be the deciding factor but your ambition to pursue growth AND the amount of enjoyment you get from if, those should be your deciding factors. You'll get bored and less interested if you keep playing on a cheap instrument and it'll dull your spirits. Buy something nice and enjoy yourselves, guys.

I've done some serious research and I've fell in love with the harp, flute, didgideroo, bouzouki, hardanger, jaw harp and of course the guitar.
