I know it's not a classic but "Event Horizon" is one of my favorite sci-fi/horror movies and you should totally watch it if you haven't seen it yet

I loved it. That being said some of the acting can be a bit cheezy at times but overall it's a quality space horror.
Is "The Thing from Another World" in anyway related to the 1982 movie "The Thing"?

You know what they really need to make into a movie..."At The Mountains Of Madness" by HP Lovecraft. I found a radio show version which was pretty cool but I want a movie dammit

A bunch of David Cronenberg's earlier movies are awesome if you love B psychological horror/suspense/monster movie type stuff. Not as old as some of the movies mentioned but I consider them classics.
Shivers (1975) Rabid (1977) The Brood (1979) Scanners (1981) Videodrome (1983) The Fly (1986)

Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elmstreet. Originals. Actually Elm Street is good through 3 imo, but never got into those that came after.

Love that pic in OP! Does "Nightmare before Christmas" count? I watch it around this time every year simply for the nostalgia.
