Please help! Mushrooms will not fruit!

So i have been following along here at the shroomery for quite some time now lurking in the shadows. I would like to say first off thanks to everyone who has helped be gain the knowledge needed to pursue this hobby.
Ill cut to the chase,
Roughly about 21 days ago i spawned a half pint of yellow popcorn to pasteurized wheat straw 50/50. everything went really well up until the point of putting in fruiting conditions. The sub colonized roughly in about a week fully and was put in the fc after that. I waited and waited. All of a sudden i noticed some pin formation after about 14 days! Today is day 16 and the pins and some of the surface of the sub are turning blue. I know this is just bruising but i dont know what has put my sub in such distress. My fc is a shotgunish setup with verm instead of perlite. I thought it wwas the humidity at first so i added more verm (field capacity) and started misting 2-3 times a day. I also fan 2-3 times a day. I have put so much work into this and dont want to lose it. I just dont know what to do. I will post pics later but i have to go to work soon and not quite sure how at this point. Im sure i left out some details so feel free to ask but will someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!

This is why you should always follow the tek.
Build a proper SGFC with perlite, so it actually works.
Your cakes are drying out...this would explain the bruising.

Yes, i know it is important to follow a proven tek, although i am not practicing it. At this point do you have any advice? I have considered dunking it. Ive heard letting it sit in water may work. I thought that was the problem anyway i just need to know the best way to get moisture back in it at this point.
Thanks again.

so popcorn to straw 50/50... im guessing u did a tray. verm is not perlite. perlite creates humidity verm is meant to keep moisture. u cant substitute them for each other. the problem is humidity.

Yes it was a small tray packed tight with straw. maybe 6 by 4" roughly and 2.5-3" deep. I did however take them out of the tray when i put them in the fc.....Which with my new info, i am a little embarrassed to call it an fc now. Anyway, do you guys still think i have a chance at getting some fruits if i can get the humidity up?

A SGFC with verm is like making a PF cake with perlite. The two are not interchangeable they have way different properties. Use the appropriate one(perlite) for the SGFC.

POSSIBLY! TRY IT AND FIND OUT!
Shouting at people to give you answers won't help anything. You obviously like to experiment. Well, how about experimenting with doing what the people you're asking recommend?

Shouting? I wasn't. Although I did ask multiple times. I just thought maybe someone could give me an idea so I wouldn't have to spend more time than necessary on a failure. Thanks for all the insight though

Get the verm out of your tub. Make sure there are 1/4" holes, 2" apart in a grid pattern on all 6 sides. Put 4-5" of wet perlite on the bottom of the bin. Put something in the pin on top of the wet perlite to keep your cake off of it. Put your cake on top of that. Mist it. Fan it. Put the lid on. Put the whole thing onto an open space, with spacers of some sort (you can figure that out yourself) between the bin and floor at all 4 corners, making sure you have at least 4" of room on all sides. Mist a few times, and fan after every time, and maybe one or two more in between mistings.
Then be patient, and PRACTICE proper teks in the meantime.
The only extra expenses would be Perlite, maybe a squirt bottle, and some means to make your holes if needed.

As soon as i got off work i bought some perlite and made the change. drilled a few extra holes and gave them a nice misting. If everything works out, i will post some pics of my first harvest!

Do I look like Nosferatu or something?
The best I can say is hopefully. At least you'll be giving them the conditions they need to make fruit bodies so you have way better chances.
