do you use any particular ratio? my treefrog has had mixed results with WC's, mostly contamination issues, even when mixed with straw. might have been other aspects of his proceedure though...

@psilocybinjunkie
how do you innoculate ?
and do you use a flowhood ?
cause i dont have one so i thought opening a ster. bag for grain transfer would be much worser than opening one past. bag...

if liquid innoc or spore innoc work, i would try to ster. and then innoc that way...is it possible ?

i was also wondering, why it should be contamed without ster. oder past. cause the worm casing how it came is also not growing any mold..
i think it must be the water which you introduce to give it the right watercontent.
so maybe just watering it with 1% H202 instead of straight water would also do the job....

he nuked the worm castings for 30 minutes and pastuerized the straw in a cooler for 1.5 hours at ~180?. he used rye spawn. i think he should have mixed the castings and the straw before sterilization, rather than at spawning time.

okay, thx so far,
2 questions left :smile:

1.) Do you "compress" the wormshit after spawning or just let it
    loose ?
2.) How do you give the water to the wormshit ?
    spraying or just adding it from a cup and then mixing in ?
