What has this to do with pre-birth or pre-fuck?

You brought up memory as if a lack of it constitutes some sort of proof that there was no experience to be had.  That's all I'm addressing.

There's no memory to be had before you were born, this is nothingness. Pre-birth and after the moment you're dead.

And what will you most likely remember when your brain turns to soil?

I probably won't remember my life.

I'm not willing to make any assumptions beyond that.

Memory is not an indicator of experience.

I probably won't remember my life.

Is there anything to remember when your brain is soil?

I'm not willing to make any assumptions beyond that.

So what do you base death on? God?

Death is here and it will take us all down, with no care.

Memory is not an indicator of experience.

Why not? Memories are all you have, there is a present but it's certainly a mere memory the moment you think of it.

If you have a line, there's a beginning and ending, it's not infinite - this birth and death.

Maybe Oc's seemingly overly certain assumption that nothing comes after death is really a result of death anxiety...

For some could the idea of an afterlife be more terrifying than vanishing into nonexistence

hmm icey that reads like death anxiety to me. :strokebeard:

@OC

if its so ridiculous than why ponder it and start a thread about how ridiculous it is?

that sounds ridiculous to me.

This. The idea of an afterlife actually induces more death anxiety it seems, than the idea of no afterlife. OCs crusade against all things spiritual and 'after', seem to stem from a serious death anxiety, a desperate need for there to be no more when there is no more.

Really?  You better explain it to me?  Personally I've always wanted some wonderful afterlife.

Should I have said after-life anxiety?
