I get what your saying Liquidos and i agree with both you and OC when it comes to all sense's perceived as 'you' vanishing with your body. But if everything is comprised of atoms isn't everything somewhat connected to some extent and as things don't die on the atomic level and presumably get recycled, how does death beyond biology and egoic structure apply.. i might be taking this a bit far but i cant help but wounder

I wasn't telling, i don't know.
Then what does "how does death beyond biology and egoic structure apply.." mean?
Do individual atoms have ego's?
What atoms don't have a desire exist?

Wait, so you mean...

Sorry but you simply can't know. For someone to talk about logic and reason and then draw an assumption that there is no experience after death is based on absolutely nothing. It might SEEM that way on the surface, but you simply can't sceintifically or logically prove it. So
It's no more ridicious to assume there is experience after death than to assume there isn't. Everything about this experience is a complete mystery.

This is beyond wrong and is the usual erroneous stance of the mystic-head. I don't know that the next baby born won't have super powers, so what? There is no reason to believe so.
Any educated person knows that science starts with the null hypothesis; that something is considered non-existent and not worth examination UNTIL SUCH TIME AS EVIDENCE IS PRESENTED.

Uh yes, there is. What happened before you were born? This is by far the most logical approach to death.
Let's play in fantasy-land, if you're born you get a fortune cookie or a demon?

Somehow I knew this crew would make a simple thing complex.
Doesn't matter. Since there is no evidence to be had for the beyond death experience no one can definitively evaluate it. We can guess what is likely to happen but that's it. My guess is there is nothing beyond death but it's an unknown ultimately.

What happened before birth is hardly a guess, I assume you remember nothing. Do you merely 'guess' this is what will happen when you die?
Again, what may point otherwise? God?
Let's think rationale.

What happened before birth is certainly a guess also.
