    #19044018 - 10/28/13 02:16 AM (10 years, 3 months ago)

Habitat: Found it growing under some bark after it rained in south texas.

Gills: white / tan

Stem: a good 5-6 cm stem semi fibrous

Cap: slightly slimy but could of just been from it being moist yellow with a little nipple on top, shaded a lighter color than the rest of the yellow top

Spore print color: working on it

Bruising: Pinched but did not notice any change

The prints took forever to show, unfortunately i fell over a log and hurt my hands/wrists, i can peck keys but i cant open the door or hold the camera steady enough to snap a picture. The spore print is a very dark color almost like a purplish black but when i went to check on them earlier today they werent that distinct yellow anymore they ended up like this.

Also i found these along the base of a hardwood tree, my first around a tree. The pictures dont do justice i dunno why it wouldnt pick up on how beautiful these were but i was late getting to them as something had eaten almost all of them. caps are a yellow/with a sorta blue hue to them stems are yellow as well. the spore print is turning out to be a yellowish/orange color. i know w/o pictueres its hard to go by but ill try to snap one in the a.m.

and finally this one

was growing around some pine needles and leaves, almost mistook it for one and stepped right on it. dose not want to seem to give off any spores so ill let it sit longer, could it be any type of Gymnopilus?
