Can you help identify this plant?

I have a friend that has this strange looking plant and I haven't a clue to its origin. Thought that maybe someone on here could identify it or at least be able to tell me what it might be related to. Thanks...

I tried to id this earlier today but the picture quality is just too poor to take even a guess.
Do you have access to a better camera? If not try and take some more pictures from further back, including the whole plant. Or just try and get some clearer pictures at least.
Looks like it is variegated, or at least starting to variegate.

Some kinda Euphorbia maybe? It's a HUGE genus. Does it have milky white sap when you cut it? Hard to see it's features very well in that pic.

This was a pic sent to me from a friend; I will see if they have a better picture available.

Here is another pic, it is just about the same quality as the other one though. Still waiting on a better pic from my friend, but at least you can see the entire plant in this one.

Yeah, I 'm still saying some kind of euphorbia is my best guess. There are SO many different ones though, and it's a really strange and varied genus. Does it have a milky sap that comes out if you break a leaf off?

It is not my plant, so I have no way of verifying if the sap is milky or not. Messaged the owner of the plant about getting a better pic and I asked them about the sap, but have not received a response. Guess they were not as interested as I had originally thought. Thanks for the guess guys.
