Coir + Verm + 5 Quarts water in PC

Up until this point, I've been fairly confident in just adding 5 quarts water to my PC, bring it to a boil, then adding 2 quarts verm and a block of Coir. I've done this many times. My reasoning is that instead of just putting all my items into a paint bucket and pouring boiling water over it I can just add the contents straight to the PC where the water is boiling. Put the lid on without the weight and let it do its thing for an hour. I keep the heat on simmer too after everything has been added and the lid is on.
Has anyone else tried this?

What are you resulting using the aforementioned technique as opposed to the current standard. The same? Quicker colonization, less work? Less Contams?

Honestly I don't know because I have nothing to compare it too. It is less work but I'm not convinced of any standard, everyone seems to compensate in their own ways when it comes to growing mushrooms, so I wonder if anyone else uses this technique with any success.
JMcD: I read in your log that your doing a bulk project, have you figured out what type of sub your going to use for your tubs? How are you going to go about pastuerizing it?

I believe I will be doing a 5:1 Coir/Verm pasturized simply by heating to a specific internal temperature, but to avoid the pasturization turning into semi-sterilization or full sterilization by usage of a meat thermometer.
I've done some thinking, and perhaps simply using ziplock bags as the main source of inoculation to hold a higher amount of spawn - using g2g from my currently colonizing jars both WBS and RGS into sterilized Ziplocks containing WBS/RGS - once those are fully colonized which should surely be a speedier process due to faster colonization using live mycellium vs. spores - I'll procede into PASTURIZING*EDIT* a large amount of Coir/Verm mixture using large pots on the stove, in which I will mix the fully colonized ziplocks into using a 5:1 ratio, allowing a week or two for colonization.
I will be using three 56 Litre monotubs and another 120 litre monotub.
I've found 56 Litre Tubs - Clear and Non - Sterilite at a local Walmart ( the devil ) for 5.56 cents the 120 litre was 11 dollars and my 56 Litre Tall Rubbermade " Virtually Indestrucable " was around 9 dollars, featuring a solid clasping lid and rubber grips/seal.

How so? Are you going to use the pillow case method for pasteurizing?
Yes, G2G is very fast and easy. P.S.: Make sure your ziplock bags have a modification to allow gas exchange.

I'll be using franks method of proper pasturization.
You can find this information in franks " how I get shit done " signature link
Or I can post it because I have it open in a tab. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/17897163#17897163
