Agaricus Augustus? PLEASE HELP! I'M HUNGRY ;)

Hey guys. I'm pretty certain these are "Princes" but I want to make sure. They were growing in various wood-chip piles under shrubs and trees (I forgot to look what kind).
The caps are about 5"-8" across. When the caps have yet to open, they are a little lumpy around the edge which makes me think Augustus as well.
When I cut I stipe and smell it (and smelling the gills), it smells VERY good... like vanilla soy milk, haha. That's the only thing that comes to mind.
I didn't take any from this patch...

I took some of these and others nearby that were knocked over but still young, firm, & fresh...

THANKS FOLKS!

Not A.augustus. More like A.moelleri, but your description of scent doesn't match.

Ah damn. Thanks. You're right. It seems Augustus have a yellowish aspect to the cap where the moelleri is just in the white/grey realm.
People say it smells like "ink"? What I have definitely smells good. Regardless, I'll toss them in the backyard and maybe some spores will reach something nearby to harass

Not everyone can smell the toxins in Agaricus.
Yours definitely look like A. moelleri. If you scratch the stem base, they will turn bright yellow.
You could try eating a little, but do not be surprised if you start puking.
Agaricus moelleri has a very mild ink odor, the other toxic Agaricus species are much stronger.

Thanks Alan. I still think it smelled good compared to most every other mushroom I've smelled, haha.
But now that I've compared augustus with these moelleri, I can see the difference. It sucks that I won't be having them for supper but I'm happy that I'm now more familiar with both
Thanks guys!
