Oh wait I didn't read that you found them in cow poo. I don't know what they are. They looked like Corts, to which I would say toss, but others have some idea about what they are....maybe....

Are you sure that you pulled that reddish, fresher one off of cow crap, it really looks like a Cort?... Looks like you've got a couple of Coprinoids in there too, maybe a Stropharia and a Panaeolus species, but all in all a thoroughly bin worthy collection

Yea, I was walking around in a cow pasture yesterday. There were a lot of mushrooms on quite a few of the cow pies, I figured I'd bring a few home. I've never really hunted mushrooms so I had no idea what I was looking for. It's about 30-45 degrees here this time of year here, the cows are all grass fed. If that makes any difference.

If you want better IDs I suggest using better lighting when taking pics so that they don't look so dark. You may have a mixed bag but it's impossible to say with the info given. You're probably not going to find actives in cow poo in the mid west.

You really sure these weren't from wood? I was ready to put money down on these being nasty old L. ceres.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.
