It looks like the beginning of verticillium Sorry I don't have a way to post any pics for some reason it won't allow me to add pics to this site .I've recently had problems with contams taking over my fully colonized rye grain that was healthy before G2G transfers. what happens is after I do the g2g a lot of the time it will produce some healthy fruits so I'll pick them in a sterile way and put it back till I need to use it again. But as I looked at it today it had small fruits with veil broken and kinda decaying right under the cap to the point where it doesn't take much to knock the cap off and the cap is real slimy and moist although the rest of the fruit looks alright. Has anyone noticed anything like this?

It sounds more like bacteria if it's slimy. If your misting and there's not enough fresh air to allow the excess moisture to evaporate off the mushroom in a short amount of time bacteria will reproduce in the moisture and the caps will start to decay like that, and turn brown and then black.
