Funny pin and some questions about cloning/isolating.

So I'm in the process of my first grow and a mutant has peaked my interest a bit.

As you can see it appears as though there is an albino growing from the pin. My questions are if they were to grow normally would I be able to take the albino portion and isolate it. Also is there any way to maybe preserve a tissue sample for a future grow. My problem is most of the isolation techniques seem to be useful only if you plan to grow continuously and I'm only doing it as needed.

Yeah pins are great at growing on agar! They explode with growth. You can make a culture slant and store those for the long run, or make a paper pellet tube and inoculate that with tissue. Or store a petri in the fridge. Either will work I am sure. Wait for a second opinion on the matter if you would like

Sorry I'm not trying to hijack but I was kinda wandering about that as well also if I took a tissue sample from the stipe of the mushroom that the little albino was growing from could I make a tub that grew many of these mutations or if I just took a piece off of the little albino on the cap would it grow a lot of albinos of the same nature minus the donor mushroom?

It might not be albino, maybe it just didn't get its color yet, it just looks likes a primordial knot right now.
But if it is albino then it may or may not produce albino mushrooms when cloned, it's hard to really tell, I mean it should but there's probably also the chance that it'll produce clones that are like the host.

Oh good call spiral completely forgot about slants I'll be reading up on it =) Yea it's not an albino, got a bit over excited. Seems just an odd mutation the stem tissue sort of grew through the cap like that. But thx regardless I'll be re-versing myself in the various cloning and isolation techniques before I try anything =)
