Casing - If sealed how long is it good for after pasteurization?

I pasteurized 3 quarts of 50/50 casing material last weekend for some PP5 containers I had ready to be cased. There was 1 container I felt had been running a bit behind the rest so I figured I'd let it sit an extra week to finish up any munching on the grains it needed to hopefully ensure better flushes. I over shot how much id potentially need as it turned out 1 single quart would sufficiently cover the 11 other PP5's that were ready. I never removed the foil off the other 2 quarts and put them in my storage box where I keep all my agar thats growing out and such... To keep things short, I wanted to case this 1 left over PP5 container today as its been a full week and was wondering if that pasteurized casing from last week, considering its had no contact with fresh air or any weird environmental conditions would still be "clean"... or is it not worth the potential risk?

I have the same question as you. I pasteurized 50/50 in 4 quart jars. I have 2 left over from 4 days ago. I havnt taken the lids off. Wonder if they are still usable as is. Or has the field capacity been compromised?

The field capacity should not have been compromised as I just pulled a jar that was at least a month old with a sealed lid out to poke at it and it still met what I'd have called field capacity.
I can tell you I've used unopened jars that were at least a week old with no issues however anything after that I'd just suggest to re-pasteurize as well you dont wanna go blowing all that time u used to colonize stuff over an hour u could just take out to re-pasteurize...

If you don't use it within a few days I would start over.
