"Maybe everyone on here is overly sensitive as mycologists generally tend to be reclusive easily offended types, or maybe that's just the internet in general. EITHER WAY, can't we all just get along?"
That's why I don't post here much anymore. I was being as diplomatic as possible and then the fan got hit.
I will give you the best advise I possibly can. Go to Sporeworks and jump, not walk, to the Halloween Trick or Treat Special before it ends. I got mine in the mail today and all I can say is WOW!
You don't have to thank me just yet. You will later.
As far as PC's go, I used my Presto 23 Qt for 20 years before going head over heals into collecting AA's. If you can look for one on craigslist, you can get one for half the price of a new one. My Presto sits in the attic, only pulled out when I need a large pot to heat water.
I certainly did not want to be perceived as a d ck when I posted my first post but I've seen members with 500 plus posts asking if they need a PC to sterilize grain.
Fri night is not the time to post serious questions here. It's human nature.
As I said before, good luck growing.
Sincerely, bootster

And I bet 499 of those posts were from a different forum.
Post counts mean nothing when we have literally 50 other forums on this site.
Someone could have 8000 posts in OTD and not know shit about cultivation.
Just sayin.

Good point. I just always found it strange to come to a mushie forum to go to some kind of chat stuff. Stranger things have happened.

OP you spend hundreds of dollars on syringes but still don't have a PC?
how about you invest around $12 for a couple syringes from a reputable sponsor and use the rest of the money to get an AA921.You can get one for around 200 on ebay brand new or cheaper if used, invest your resources wisely
first investment in this hobby should be a PC, a close second a dehydrator

I ordered 2 syringes off spores101 and I could clearly see the spores all over inside both syringes. Inoculating tomorrow, will update how it goes.

I hope they didn't screw you and sell you oyster spores.....
They have a tendency of doing that.

Spores 101 was the site that sold me 80 bucks in GT syringes. I just was unaware GT was infact just some bacteria in a syringe. WHO KNEW.

That's like adding water to gasoline or some stupid shit to deceive people. If enough people complain a lot (the squeaky wheel gets the grease) could it be shut down somehow?
Could there be a banner or something warning people not to get anything from them?

This. I came to this forum almost ten years ago, with the intention of getting into cultivation. However, life happens, I was on the road doing a lot of traveling for most of that time, living either on the road or with friends all over the country. I was around friends grows time to time but didn't take a stab at cultivation solo until a few years ago with my first pf-tek. Couple years passed after that before I invested in my pressure cooker and built a flowhood and started doing bulk. Before that I would do a lot of reading here n there in the cult forum but ever since I was a kid I was always reading up on trip reports an whatnot. I've been into psychedelics since I was 13 years old. I'm 32 now. Before finding the Shroomery I spent a lot of time on Erowid and the Lyceum, which I don't even think exists anymore. Anyway I came here to learn but also enjoyed just shooting the shit with for the most part, like minded people with the common interest of psychedelics. I
Every now and then when asking a question in cultivation, I get someone who's been on here for like 6 months reference my post count, wondering how I have so many posts and still have questions about cultivation. First off, I don't think the day will ever come, when I don't have questions pertaining to cultivation, as there are new methods n techniques all the time.
Secondly, this is a community. Granted cultivation is maybe the central part of it, I also believe so is the psychedelic experience in general. And well, life all around.
I used to think people were a bit over the top when seeing responses to questions saying UTFSE but over time, you realize, this isn't just a place for people new to cultivation to come in quick, ask and receive anything Thier heart desires and then disappear. People are here to help, as is the forum, hence why there is a search function. Without it the boards would be clogged with questions every day that have been answere a thousand times over. Just sayin.

Here's a great pressure cooker for the money
With all do respect, it is in the rules to use the search function before you ask questions
$350 seems like such a crazy investment on spores considering once you grow your first mushrooms, spores become almost infinite via spore printing.
Anyways, you've got the right idea by considering G2G. You use the least amount of spores/inoculates this way. You're on the right track mate best of luck to you!
