Bigger guys also tend to have much longer reach, I've been in fights where I have a huge reach advantage. Cake walk when someone can't hit you back.

Mescalean said: Im not huge. Only 6'1" 215. 13% body fat. The extra muscle adds a nice amount of cushion.
I've noticed to things.
A lot of little guys will mad dog a bigger guy only to get their bell rung.
And the ones who always talk about technique... Usually don't have much. Kicking at someones knees is a good way for them to get in closer and grab you. And once the bigger guy has a grip. It's done play dead.
It usually requires power to do damage...
You can be 5'7" 140 quickest hands. But I have anger blackouts and power on my side. Outside of professional fighting size is a huge factor. Notice it takes a long fucking time to see a ko in anything below middleweight?
Yeah, I notice that because they are wearing gloves and can't really fight. Take the gloves off and forget the rules, would you stand toe to toe with someone like Bruce Lee or Manny Pacquiao?

I'm 195 6'2". It's not about size, it's about respecting speed. Speed is what kills.
Would you rather get hit by a semi truck going 5 mph or a ferrari going 200 mph?

No but i would happily put someone up against them who's been training in the same dicipline for as long. Also people aren't cars. Another horrible comparison.

This is much to broad. I would vote for a small muscular guy rather than a tall musculare guy in a fight.
My reason being is low center of gravity, smaller target area, more explosive power and experience.
I often have to defend myself against giant testosterone fueled scumbags who feel the need to prove themselves by beating up the small guy. I almost always can hold my ground against guys who have 30+pounds on me.
I would say the most important factor in a fight is a clear mind.

It's really a pretty apt comparison. You are saying "power" well I'm being more descriptive here - we are dealing with force. As in f=ma. More acceleration? More force. Simple

a nice kick to either knees will bring you to my level.
