yeah i would do that and strain them and add them back in for a minute after they have sauteed and strained. Do you have any garlic?

I love making a dipping sauce of 1/2tsp worstercherchershirethscher sauce 1/2 tsp rice wine vinegar and 1 tbsp of soy sauce.
Bust out the chopsticks and dip those crispy lovelies and munch.

I've sautéed them in butter twice now and both times they still came out a little too "slimy" on the interior. I did low heat with little butter. Hmm...

I've been dry sauteeing them with nothing else, putting them in wide mouth pints and freezing them. Some will go into the Thanksgiving stuffing along with some chantys... The biggest ones here had caps about 6" high.
