Hey everyone my 1st post! And 1st time growing. I have 3 - 1/2 pint jars of Amazonian in their 24th day. Jars are 100% colonized (not sure of the depth into the media). Everything looks healthy. I need to have some edibles by Nov 1st. Is this possible? No visible signs of pinning. Temp spread has been 66 - 72 degrees for jars. Grow chamber is constructed and ready (tub in a tub surrounded with water, aquarium heater set to 76 degrees, perlite in grow tub, air by aquarium pump on timer, vents for co2 relief). Still haven't opened jars since inoculation, jars are not in grow chamber yet. Can supply more info if needed. Thank you for your help! FUNGUYCA2AZ

Sorry but you are not likely to have fruits in 7 days if they are still in the jars now

Thank you LG! Should I do the dunk and roll thing now or when? I have been reading and watching videos, just not sure when to start the next step. Would hate for the jars to dry out(if that is possible).

After your cakes reach 100% colonization you want to wait another week for them to consolidate then birth, dunk and roll.

Oven treat your vermiculite spread thin on a baking sheet 250F for 20-25mins and let cool before you roll ur cakes in it.

Give it a few more days to consolidate after 100% colonization. Maybe mid next week, or next weekend. Otherwise they will just sit in your fruiting chamber and do nothing - might as well wait.
Don't forget to dunk and roll. Dunk 12-24 hours. I did mine for 15 and they were fine. No need to bake vermiculite before rolling - it is fine.
I got lucky with 2 cakes and saw good fruits just 2 days after birthing, but expect around a week before getting enough edibles! So you might have some ready to eat by the Nov 8 weekend after drying and all has been done.
Good luck!

Its a gift for a friend, awesome 5 day camp trip planned! But it will still be great without the Amazambas! I just missed my calculated date, 100% colonization plus 7 days would be right about now(Sat am)! Was hoping for pins on Monday am then some fresh by the 1st thru the 6th. Overly optimystic! First time doing this, so no biggy learning curve. Just thought I would consult the pros!
