UK Liberty hunt - very dark gills not sure if these are liberty's

Hi,
This is my first time hunting, in fact I stumbled upon these by accident today. I found them in some fields used for cattle on a south facing slope. I am confused because some look too dark and have very dark gills. I also saw some really large ones along side them. the caps are 1.5cm to nearly 3cm diameter on the largest.
Habitat: Cow fields south facing slope, South West England
Gills: light brown to dark brown almost black

None of those look like libs man, pans of some sort. Keep trying though! Download some pictures onto your phone from google images and take them with you whilst hunting. And if you're sure you've found some, do some spore prints. (they should turn purple) Good luck!

Not Psilocybe semilanceata, looks like mostly Panaeolus papilionaceus and/or acuminatus.

I thought it was too good to be true, they were only 5 mins walk from where I live.

I found recently something which looks very much like the above, but with a rusty colour spore print ? Any thoughts ? Was thinking Galerina because of mossy bed, but the gills are very dark !

We can't ID without a picture (and you should start a new thread for your ID request), but a rusty spore print means it is certainly not a liberty cap.
