Hope you enjoy my work. I have been blowing glass for 11 years now and these are some of my most recent works.

You are so fucking lucky. Always wanted to get into glassblowing, but it seems you must have family or a good friend that already does it to get into the trade :L
Nice work man, I would be a very proud owner of any one of those pieces.

Best friends got into blowing glass about 10 years ago, just gotta be something you love. They didn't know anyone who did it already, and didn't have anyone to teach them in the beginning, it was just something they loved right from the start. Granted the both sold mad herb, and collected super heady glass from the beginning.. Guess glass is just a passion

SOme schools offer classes/majors in it. My buddy went to a university and I dont know what his actual major title was that he graduated with but essentially it was glass blowing.

Wow thanks everyone here is some nice new stuff.  There are lots of schools and even internet webinars.  Seminars over internet webcam.  I am looking into them right now for some more advanced techniques.  There are also lots of videos available as well.  Check out some glass supply vendors if you are interested.  ABR Imagery, Glasscraft, and Mountain Glass Arts.  They can all provide you with not only the equipment, materials and videos, but probably direct you to some sort of glass school or webinar coming up.

The last one is actually a collaboration piece with me and my buddy Mike.

I learned mostly by myself.  Had some help with begenner techniques and just recently went to a class that has helped me to understand a lot of new techniques.  Here are some new pics

Actually most community colleges give classes and you can buy every thing you need easily to do it. It's just expensive to get in to. You don't need classes or any thing to get in to it. Join a glass blowing forum and start learning.

Thanks again everyone.  So yes i have to agree that it is expensive getting into this business.  It is best to find someone with a shop and learn under them slowly.  Or if you got the cash a cheap set up is right around $1000.  A decent setup would be $2000+.  Most of the cash is in the torch.  On top of that you need a kiln, tanks and regulators, hoses and tools, means of ventilation and a work bench, and a place to work with concrete floors. They all add up pretty quick depending on how nice you want each of them to be.

Currently looking for someone to teach right now. I got a empty bench, with a torch tools and ventilation. Just need to be local to the Santa Cruz area and willing to show up 3-5 days a week. Need to be creative, easy going but productive and responsible.

Anyways here is the new stuff.  The smaller the better these days.  Pendant rigs.

Send me a private message with your email address preferably.  I don't think i am allowed to advertise my website on the shroomery without paying some fees of some sort.

Here are some more mini tubes i made last week.
