Hi!
After a lot of PF TEK, I want to move on and make my first a monotube. I will make Coco Monotube with 6 pf cake (P.C. Pensacola > it has ryzomorph myc). After I mix Coco/Vermiculite with the crumbled cakes should I casing it? Or i have to incubate it without casing ? And after a few days if i will see mycelium on the top layer i should patch it ? I dont want to get overlay and i dont know how can i prevent it... thanks for the answers!

Coir needs no casing.
It's also available at hydro stores and pet stores. If you don't live in a big city with pet stores, simply use horse manure or straw. RR

Thanks! So I just mix it, then wait to 100% colonization and after that make Fruiting Conditions (FAE,Misting) and there's no need to consolidate, am i right?

Some people allow their bulk substrate to consolidate a few days and some do not. I do not. I introduce it to fruiting conditions as soon as it is 100% colonized

I've searched high and low for coir sold locally, and it simply isn't around. I'm sure it might be in your area but you can get it delivered in bulk for a decent price.
As for when to introduce to fruiting conditions, one week is usually the time I go by. I've had tubs take off and I took them to fruiting conditions in as little as 5 days, but generally speaking it takes about a week in my experience. I've never waited for it to consolidate further past the 100% point.
