Mycology into the 21st Century * 3

Christian Schwarz gave another excellent presentation to the Fungus Federation of Santa Cruz. In case some of you missed it, here you go. I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds for mycology.

i watched this yesterday, thought it was neat, kind inspiring to post mushrooms on mushroom observer instead of just on here

it made me think that i want to actually setup up a foray in the local park, and upload all pictures to mushroom observer, because as far as i know, there is almost  no documentation for mushrooms in my immediate area

Glad you were inspired too!
It really is a call to arms for all us amateurs who enjoy hunting mushrooms to get into some better habits of documentation of our finds. We all have contributions to make to the field of mycology, just got apply ourselves.

That is a great idea to set up a local foray! I should think about doing the same as I have more people asking me to take them mushroom hunting than I can count.
