Anyone else quit drinking recently?
    #19034369 - 10/26/13 06:32 AM (10 years, 3 months ago)

I just feel like alcohol might be one of the worst ways you can alter your mind. You can just feel how toxic it is to the human body, not to mention how badly it can effect your relationships. My general rule of thumb is if it makes you feel like shit afterwards, it's probably best to avoid it. That's why nowadays i stay natural.  :jah:

I agree completely... But I like drinking.. Unfortunately it causes a great deal of trouble once I start drinking a lot... I am systematically reducing the stuff that harm me... I quite smoking 2 months ago... Next up is Coffey and next year I want to stop drinking... I grew up in a house where my dad got shitfaced every night... I grew up like that till my final year in school when my dad finally quite... 3 Months after that my mom finally got pregnant... After 18 years I finaly got a sibling that I so love... My little sister... 18 years difference...  Me and my dad are also so close now.. Its great!!

I stopped drinking as heavily as I was. I was drinking to the point of .3+ consistently and things got a little intense in my life. Now I just save it for the weekends and it is enjoyable I suppose.

I wish that the bar scene was a different drug because that scene is what I truly enjoy about the whole thing.

That's why I hope kava bars really take off in the next few years, it would be great to see at least a couple in every major city. Plus it's a much more clear headed drug.

Me too pretty much. I still will drink on occasion but only a couple beers usually. I still will occasionally get drunk as well, but neither with any degree of regularity like I used to. Used to get drunk every night.
