lets say you need 5 dried mushrooms for a trip
then the same 5 mushrooms fresh would be exactly the same wouldnt they?
whats the multyplication factor? 1g dried = xg fresh?

Mushrooms are approximately 90 percent water. So 10 grams fresh is like 1 gram dry. Some people say they are more potent fresh but I don't really think it is a noticeable difference

i never ate mushrooms. i guess fresh tastes better than dry? if i already have acess to fresh i probably should eat fresh right?
one more question.

if they are ready soon im scared that when i pick the big one the small one will go of too since they seem to be all attached. my first time growing.

First of all, don't pick them. Slice off at the base with a sharp knife, especially if close to other mushrooms. This prevents damage and aborts nearby.
Mushrooms will lose 90% of their weight when dry. However, fresh mushrooms contain both psilocin and psilocybin, but the psilocin degrades during drying so won't be present in the dry fruits. The psilocin is what makes 'fresh' better. RR
