I just encountered a deer you guys. Went outside to call my dog home and there it was right there like 20ft away! An then, we locked eyes for a moment, and there was a thing there... Like an understanding... but then my dog chased him into the woods!
That dog is such a feral beast... I mean like, by nature, how even though he's trained, they still have their natural carnal instincts inside... It fucking blows my mind how man totally domesticated wolves and made an entire new species (dogs) just like that. It's like we took the baddest motherfuckers out there and formed an alliance. Woah. Humans are so badass.. Damn nature you crazy
didnt mean to go on rambling on y'all's asses like that but I am trippin BALLS right now and I just saw a deer and I'm a little confused here. So what do u guys think about all this. LATE NIGHT PUB WOO

You're right, wow. I think people sometimes forget (I do at least) that were not some separate thing living here in the wild... We're part of it....
Or maybe I'm just high I dunno lol. I live in the middle of the fucking woods by the way.

I agree, seeing wild animals while tripping is truly magnificient! So far I've seen an Eagle Owl while on mushrooms, just chilling and turning it's head and 2 swans fighting in mid air while on mescaline, I know I'll remember those encouters for the rest of my life. Especially that owl was so majestic, me and my friend just sat down completely quiet and watched it, man those things are HUGE.
It can get a bit confusing if you separate us from nature and nature from the universe, for me it's easier to think of it all as just a big swirling sea of atoms and molecules that have taken some extraordinary forms. Like you and the stars and your keyboard and that deer you saw

this post reminds me of the time that me and my friend was walking through the woods and we happened upon this deer, but i didn't even see it because i was all high and looking around and not in front of me... so when i turned, i saw it, face to face and was like WHAO@!1 and stopped in my tracks, stunned.
and it just stared at me like Doge, and my friend was like, "PFFT"
and then it's majestic beautiful hide (i don't hunt) frolicked away, and i was like ... whoa... i've seen like Moose and Deer and Bears and shit... but not... FACE TO FACE LITERALLY.
to see it happen... i mean, it was a trip... seriously... i don't even know how it happened, just that it did. i was not tripping either... i was high on weed. i just stumbled... into the fucking thing i have no idea why it didn't scare.

This thread reminds meeeeeee of this time I was in the neon mountains and saw a couple neon bears rolling around on the neon ground eating neon mushrooms & watching the neon shooting stars in the neon sky. It was beautiful. Then I opened my eyes and was somehow back on my bed.

Aha yes you guys are on the same level haha! It's a whole different thing to suddenly find yourself face to face with the wild!
Funny you should mention that you don't hunt akira... (Great story btw) I can respect that. A few months ago I was tripping on some wild cubes and fishing by this lake deep in the woods. I hooked this bass deep in his belly and well basically I ended up having to cut it out of him because it was stuck in his guts. And after making a big bloody mess and I had no real choice but to end his life right there. i mean that fish was completely fisted beyond all repair lol. It was such a raw experience.
But the ordeal made me realize how much pain fishing brings upon those animals, and for no good reason other than sport, so I quit. My buddy calls me a pussy but I think it's a legitimate stance.

that's intense. (especially since you were tripping, yikes!) i'm not sure if i should share the story about when i didn't have a* fishing rod and fashioned a "stick" rod with line, hook and sinker and actually caught little shitty fish with it... oh wait, i just did.
i wonder if this brings my legitimacy down? i mean, i was really up at Algonquin, and really did that... i was like fucking 9-10 at the time...
seriously, has anyone ever seen it done before? i thought it was pretty cool personally... it's not like it's rare or anything, it can't be. EDIT: yeah, i mean the Inuit must of done it like, right?
* correction, it's not like i packed or anything.
PS: and yeah, being face to face with it... i mean, literally... is really cool, especially when you do't expect it to happen.

Psychedelics can definetly make you a pussy in some ways haha! I like fishing but I couldn't do it when tripping. I've only been high once while fishing and I'm glad I didn't catch any that time, I was kind of worried the whole time that I would have to take a life. I didn't quit though, I only go fishing when I'm sober so I don't pussy out when it comes to killing

yaeh, if i was tripping i wouldn't want the scales crawling up my fingertips and up my arms, and smelling blood and 'ing my brain, while i'm trying to knife a fish.

Heh heh heh yeah it's like shrooms make you go all Buddha and realize the gravity of taking a life, even if its just a fish or bug or whatever. Maybe it's just me I dunno but I still don't fish, even while sober. That shit stuck!

We living in the concrete jungle, it's some crazy shit.
Actually it does my fucking head in.
I mean every time I go out to the bush it clears my head sooo much. Could be all those trippy drugs i tend to take out there too, who knows I always come back refreshed though. I think it has a lot to do with the lack of noise pollution and all the interesting shapes and landscapes too.

mushrooms sucks you through the wormhole. gravity flips on it's head, and all of a sudden you are inside the fish.

You guys ever look at the stars? Especially when tripping! If you ever get the chance and haven't already (or even if u have) i highly recommend checking out Jupiter or Saturn through a telescope. To know that bright star right there is another world is one thing but to SEE IT, it's something else. Really blew my mind firs time I saw Saturn in person.

I know you can see Jupiter this time of year. It's super easy to spot just look for the brightest star in the sky. It's close by the moon right now.
