ID. possibly p. cyanofriscosa in central cost california?

Habitat:on wood chips behind bushes in santa maria california. Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.
Gills: Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
Cap:caramal color Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
Spore print color: still waiting on a spore sprint will get back to yall once done. Very important!
Bruising:blue brusing on stem Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

Last year there were a couple finds in San Luis Obispo. Also a find in Santa Barbara. But they are certainly not common down that way. Congrats! Spread that thing around.

Congrats! you should not pick all of them, let some stay to spread more love in that spot, the ones you take should be cut above ground so you don't tread any up, and you can rinse them to and safe the runoff for a spore solutions. Or you can take a couple of them up with the mycelium from under the ground, and cut that "stem butt" off, placing it in soaked, clean cardboard. Search "Cardboard tek" on the shroomery and you will probably get a lot of good info.

I did this with ovoids, only no cardboard, just straight to the dirt, with some fresh hard wood chips.
