DAMN. THATS ALL I CAN FIND. NO CUBES AND NO ACTIVE PANS. WHY IS THAT? IS IT THE FEILD? OR WEATHER CONDITIONS? ANY ADVISE PLEASE AND THANKS.
I HAVE THE LAND OWNERS PERMISSION TO THE FIELD AND IT IS HUGE. I HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN ON MAYBE 1/4 OF THE WHOLE THING. I THINK I WILL TRY A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PART OF THE FEILD THIS WEEKEND.
BROUGHT SOME PATTIES HOME TO SEE WHAT WILL GROW OUT OF THEM.

There's no tellin'. Only you know the weather patterns and habitat. Your guess would be better than any of ours. Keep your head up though. You'll get them, maybe next year or two, but it will happen.

I HAVE BEEN READING UP ON THE Panaeolus antillarum. SOME PEOPLE SAY THEY HAVE HAD EFFECTS WHEN INGESTED, MAYBE PLACEBO. WHEN I WAS YOUNG AND STUPID I USED TO EAT ANY MUSHROOM THAT CAME OUT OF COW CRAP. LOL. I REMEMBER FINDING THESE ALOT, ALONG WITH OTHER MUSHROOMS AND ALWAYS HAVE SOME EFFECT.
THAT BEING SAID IM GOING TO EAT THEM AND POST BACK THE EFFECTS.
ALSO IM NOT SURE THAT ALL THESE MUSHROOMS IN THE ABOVE PICS ARE THE SAME. THE TOP 6 HAVE BRUISING STEMS AND DARKER GOLDEN CAPS AND THE BOTTOM 5 HAVE LIGHTER CAPS AND NO BRUISING ON STEM, SPORE COLOR SEEMS THE SAME AS WELL AS GILL PATTERN ECT., SOOOO.?

If that field keeps failing you, I would simply move on to another field... its possible they have not made their way to that field... its also the time of year that they start to become less common... i suggest looking again in late spring~
and if you find some elsewhere... try to introduce them to the field?

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Hi Ludipro. No worries we are all just upset about the broke ass care act. Would you mind capitalizing the first letter in each sentence? Thanks.

There is no special reason to eat P. antillarum, and there is no special reason not to.
I'd love to see a well lit, focused macro shot of this bruising you are talking about. It is certainly somewhat possible that you have two species, and those without white stipes support another species anyway.

Why don't you help yourself for once? We've made more progress here than you have for yourself. Maybe you're the asshole.

I'm deleting my account. I have seen so many rude and unhelpful users and threads on this site. I thought that is what the site was for, to help people. I'm not sure why people have to be that way, maybe too many mushrooms. The arguing, bickering, and bullying is stupid. Everyone thinks they are right and everyone else is wrong.
I don't need people to help me identity my finds. With a little research it's not very difficult. I have seen a lot of miss identified mushrooms on this sit as well, also incorrect information. Many people on this site are not as smart as they think.
