Pacific NW ID Assistance please!
    #19030937 - 10/25/13 12:44 PM (10 years, 3 months ago)

Greetings all!  Hope to not be a bother here with another request for identifying!

Habitat:
Mixed conifer & alder/cottonwood forest floor. Good amount of filtered sunlight, heavily compacted compost & fairly open space (not covered, these were wide open on a trail I use daily & weren't there 2 days ago)

Gills:
No other way to call them but purple. I believe the term is connected but please excuse my lack of proper terms. Hopefully the clear pics will make up for it.

Caps range from 1/8" dia to about 3/4" (yet they are surely young still)

Spore print: got too antsy & had to post these right away & the print is still in production!

Bruising:
Very very deep purple... and am wondering if this is what some folks would consider blue?

Again, I'm quite new to hunting so I apologize for not knowing proper terms & as time goes on I'll show a bit more patience in posting ID requests...but these specimens in particular just struck me.  It's like they're straight out of a 1969 black light poster in their looks!

Thanks in advance all!

Nah, Laccaria for sure.  They get that hairy look regularly.  I can see how that might look like a cortina veil though!
