Habitat: A gas station parking lot, next to a dumpster. Seriously, they were growing from a tree stump in a dirt area abutting the parking lot, next to a fence. Don't know the type of tree.
Gills: Light orange-yellow. Attached.
Stem: 70mm x 15mm. Firm, fleshy. Vertical striations. Lighter than gill color, darkening towards base, with slight blue-green tones. Faint ring.
Cap: 120mm. Reddish-yellow with darker fibrils. Green bruising. Margin bruising to dark red-brown. Spore print color: Brownish-tan.
Bruising: Green, dark red-brown at cap margin.
Other information: "Mushroomy" smell. Nothing unusual.
Just to reiterate, this "habitat" is completely urban. Oil-slicked, exhaust-soaked convenience store parking lot...These little guys were fighting for their foothold...kind cool I thought. Oh, and that spore print is exactly how it came out. Best. spore. print ever. Thanks for your time...

Yep, or close enough, at any rate.
Also; that spore print should be framed.

Ganymede, it's up to you, but it would be great if you saved some of this collection for analysis.

I ziplocked the first spore print...and will do another spore print under more semi-sterile conditions. The fruit bodies will be be dried and preserved. No intention of bio-assay...
