Is G2G very different from bulk?

Hi all, my question is about the difference between G2G and bulk.
Swim will use g2g but not because he wants to go bulk, but because he wants to start from agar plates. Swim's style is that he is interested in learning how to grow mushrooms in general, and is starting with cubes but would like a method that is as universal as possible.
He'd like to use trays or monotubs but gts confused between bulk and casing. In some videos, it looks like all they do is poor all contents of g2g jars in trays and then add a small casing layer to help with hydration and pinning. But in other videos, it looks like they are using the g2g as spawn and mixing it with other substrates at ratios like 50/50 or lower.
Swim hasn't figured out the main difference between using g2g as spawn or just casing it in a tray. And swim still wants bulk in a way, he wants to be self sufficient and not have to buy mshrooms at the grocery store. But he doesn't want shit loads of them that he'll have to dry or sell or give away.
So what should swim do with his inoculated grains in your opinion?
Thanks

he should register an account on the shroomery and use their search engine. Maybe even post a question himself if he's confused about something..

I feel like I'm being sterilized by a flame.
Feels good... Ok I'm flaming hot now and swim is loving it... Back on track...
Thanks again if you can give me your opinions on this subject.

Mods/Admins, is there some way to add a word filter to the forums which changes "SWIM" to "noob who hasn't read the rules" or something similar?

I don't think using swim is against the rules. It's just annoying

Op judging by your question you need to do a lot more reading. You have some terms confused. Well help you but we're not going to hold your hand
