Hi! I'm just finally getting the chance to grow some plants I've had on my list to grow for a long time now, so here's the list so far:
Acacia simplicifolia, about a month and a half old only two of 10 made germination. sand and black gold! natural light/ T5's 3cm tall
Anadenathera Colubrina, about a month old and all four germinated great! sand and black gold! same as all mostly natural light 15cm tall
Brugmansia Versicolor, About a year old rooted cutting, and it is huge, it loves natural light supplemented with artificial! Things a huge weed 5ft tall no flowers yet but summer just started... easiest plant I've ever grown!
Erythroxylum Novogratense, just started germination and excited, no bottom heat and will be mostly natural light at least while the nice weather lasts, its rare here!
Psychotria Alba, about a month old leaf clipping with roots and so far three shoots, Three is plenty of these picky fuckers! way faster than I thought it would grow cool plant its the only kind I got under a humidity dome but taking it out today, so yeah. I'm trying to be fair with not too much special treatment.
Banisteriopsis Caapi, about 2 months old rooted cutting and growing nicely i.e. not picky, loves to be warm just like the rest and it will be grown indoors for spring fall and winter out for summer when old enough! any ideas on how to keep this up while on a budget, would really help I need a new light or two curious about how the novo will grow so any tips will be greatly appreciated

That sounds awesome. How much experience do you have at growing tropical plants? I think there are some decent E. novo. grow logs on here if you look around. Are you growing it indoors?

I have very little experience (less than two years) but I love to read about plants and I find that most of my questions are answered before I even have a problem which sounds a bit weird but there is a lot of info out there, I was in school for botany but decided to go back to work for the reason of being sick of being a broke ass student!haha thanks for writing me that was my first post on this forum which is one of the best places to get info by the way! If you got any Ideas on how to keep it a simple and a cheap hobby, I'd be stoked! Thanks for the first response SMOAKLAND, btw my plants are all getting much bigger and any space saving ideas are also welcome!!!! peace Goblikan!

Update overdue! Gave away about 10 E. novogranatense seedlings and everyone I gave one to killed them! The 3 I kept are still going strong and are starting to branch nicely. My Acacia simplex is a bad ass mini tree now with adult leaves and everything. Brugmansia versicolor didn't flower this year but got huge the leafs are as big as my torso! The Anadenathera colubrina is getting very tall and has huge nectar glands on the leaf stems! My one Psychotria viridis has turned into four, still small but beautiful! The Banisteriopsis caapi tunkunaka cutting I got from Hawaii is growing super fast. Pictures very soon!!!! Just need to find my wifes camera and it is on... I had some Mucuna purians seeds but I failed to sprout any of them, prolly needed a hot start but they were old anyway! Also have way too many Datura metel seeds from my big ass datura in the front yard, thing looks like a tree the only plant that is bigger is the Brugmansia!!! so far... If you read this and have any tips on any of these plants I'd love to hear them. Thanks goblikan out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
