Identification needed

found a massive batch of these growing on top of what i assume to be alder chips... might be assorted wood chips or another type.
non the less they were all growing atop wood chips with a few alder trees near by/heavily fertalized soil...
cap is brown. connect to the stem with young age, eventually expanding outword but hands down....
spore print was blackish/brown
stem is white with a nice sheen to it and tears like paper, not brittle...
i found some next to it that had lighter caps (more whiteish) that were brittle, but im assuming they were old ones that dried out...
no sign of bruising yet...
i know they are not stunzis or cyans. but could it be another in the long list of psychoactive mushrooms found here in the pacific northwest?
lmk...
also found and aminita earlier today but those stick out like a sore thumb and i dont need help identifying that...
also found what could be azurescens, or look a likes, and what could be biociteus [sp] or conocybe, but ill look into that later.
just gotta figure these guys out cuz i picked about an oz or two dried and it was a small fraction of the amount growing.

Psathyrellaceae sp. The shots are too small and blurry to make out details.

The right picture is ALWAYS helpful. Also as Joie has been on the shroomery for about 4 years, has almost 5,000 posts under his/her belt and is a trusted identifier he/she KNOWS how to enlarge the pictures. A few observation skills and a little respect are in order here.

To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget. Arundhati Roy

I don't think there was anything assumed. Your mushroom fits somewhere within a large genus (Psathyrellaceae), that much is clear. Joie only said that better pictures are needed to narrow it down to a specific species within that genus.
