Damn, broke my headphones

My friend that I'm staying with gave me some nice headphones. Really good quality actual headphones with noise cancelling. They are just like those big bose ones except probably better.
I got drunk and listened to electronic stuff too loud, and now it distorts even at medium volume!!!!
He has like 30k in the bank, but I bet he won't get me new ones.
Fuck. Right when you get something good it has to die. I guess it's my fault...but it still sucks balls. I really loved the sound quality.

Okay they might not be as good as bose, but they rocked.

I googled and found a pair for $8. Walmart has the upgraded HO900 for $13, lol.
No wonder they broke. Probably one of those times where you get what you pay for.

Oh wow. See I thought they were pretty damn good compared to my ear phones from wal-mart.
Then all hope is not lost!

Yeah, you probably just prefer the overall sound of cans, versus earbuds/earphones. I think a lot of people do.

Try and find yourself a used pair of V-Moda M-80 or M-100s They're pretty damn strong I could sit on mine a hundred times and nothing would happen to them and they sound badass.

I don't know used probably under $100 for the M-80 which is what I have. I'm seeing around $80 on ebay without even looking very hard. I got my used pair for $130 and that was over a year ago when they were still somewhat new. They got a nice case, 2 detachable cables one for Android other for iDevices with volume controls, and they're pretty small cans so they're super portable. But most importantly they're built SOLID. Saw a thread on Head-Fi where some guy's mom drove over them in her car and they bent a little but he bent them back and they work like new he said they even fit better than before. I love mine.

Ya just got the m80s myself and they are built like tanks. Small cans and put out good sounds, decent sound stage. Picked it up for 100$ on amazon. If you dont have the money there are some Sony MH1 headphones that are about 30-50$ and are the best IEMS for that price, check the reviews on headfi

I've been using some klipsch S4i's and have been considering upgrading to the x4i's. Also found a pair of over-ear Sennheiser momentums I'd like, but I'm not sure I'd put a pair of cans to good use.

My M-80s are great for tripping outside if I want some music having the cable always on the left side makes it easy to know which way to put them on when you're fucked up I can't handle a tangled mess of headphones and trying to figure out right and left when I can't even read the labels.

ATH-M50s are by far the best bang for you buck that you can get. They run ~$120 if you look on eBay and compete with $300 headphones. They are ridiculously well reviewed on Amazon.

I think they were a better bang for the buck when they were under $100

Hmmm. Well I had some awesome sennheiser's in the past that were under 100 but were pretty damn good. They weren't these but were similar. http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-280-Pro-Headphones/dp/B000065BPB
