Great! So excited to harvest and try these tomorrow, I have been searching for weeks! Any third opinions just to be safe?

Leave the smaller nubs and harvest the larger shelf for a digestion test...
And allow the nubs to get a little bigger maybe, for more good eats!
Chances are you will digest em just fine.
Cook up and eat a small portion.
You should know within the first 3-4 hours.

Guessing they were on oak?.. If so, likely sulphur rather that gilbert or conifier.

Also, in reading about the possible allergies and sensitivities associated with this mushroom... the old concern of the tree it grows on seems to be a passing theory... MAOIs are a likely the culprits of illness after eating these... with isolated predispositioned sensitivities/allergies being much more of a rare occurrence.
There's no other mushroom like those beauties, they are chickys!

Cooked some today, sauteed in butter with onion, garlic, dill, rosemary, lemon, and black pepper over rice.

Gotta say, it was pretty fucking incredible.
