Imaboutto head out to shop for one. Just curious if anyone knows of good ones.
Specifically, the l sat one I had only had different settings like low medium and high. Just curious if some of them have built in thermostats along with the dial indicating at what tem you want them to shut off. Cause that would be just perfect.

I like the portable oil filled radiators with the thermostatic control. Doesn't need to be digital, just a knob so you can make small adjustments. You can find them just about anywhere right now.

I've actually got a few of those. Problem is I have my tubs in a low lever ceiling area where that won't fit. Basically need to use a space heater. Unless I kind find one of those oil filled radiators that are short like a baseboard radiator. Do they make those?

This space heater being oscillating, could I possibly not have to use a regular fan for FAE as this should get the air moving in the space. Or do you think I will still need a fan?

I think you should be OK if it is a smaller space. The heat will create air currents as well. You will be able to see in your fruits if you need to increase air flow.

Cool. Thanks.
It's been almost a year since I've done tubs. I can't remember if there is a difference in ideal temperature ranges between colonizing tubs vs tubs that are fruiting. They fine just the same?
All my first tubs were spawned at same time if I'm not mistaken. This time I've a few and the first was spawned almost two weeks ago and fruiting since Sunday.

I just keep everything around 70 degrees. maybe a few degrees warmer for you if you don't have insulation. Keep a seperate thermometer in the room to gauge temps, don't rely on just the heater thermostat.
I have a room digi that will give me the low/high as well, so i can see if it dips a lot at night. I reset it every so often to check temps

Cool. I just read on franks mono tek to place the newly spawned mono in a room with minimal air movement. Would keeping it in the same room as the fruiting tub with the air circulating be bad? I couldn't imagine as much but just saw that. Although. Really don't have an option otherwise soi guess I'll find out.

Just finished setting up. This space heater seems pretty boss. I brought a digital thermometer in there to see if it shuts off when it reaches its pre programmed temp. And it does when the air in the room actual reaches about 3 degrees higher than the actual devices setting. However, it kicks back on right as the room temp reaches that setting again.
I'll have to monitor it when it gets colder though. I gather tomorrow morning will suffices as right now it's a comfortable enough 55 and was pushing 60 earlier. Tonight supposed t drop to 38. Wonder if it will still find some time to turn off at those temps. It's an enclosed area so I gather won't be bad.
Certainly beats the space heater I used to use that I would have to keep on all day and would dip the room temp way above and below at times.
