This isn't racist cos he's not talking about black people.
If it was about black people Wiccan would of banned him into the next century. I guess Wiccan doesn't care about Asians.

At least it's something you can be passionate about, with the work experience that you hold.
Actually last yea they put a massive dent i.n the whalers quota.
They do cop a lot of flack from armchair experts. Its something ive always wanted to do and feel its a good cause. Its all volunteer, not paid.

yeah, thats a bitchen boat as well.
Quote:
Originally named the Cable and Wireless Adventurer she was built for the purpose of circumnavigating the world in less than 80 days. This was successfully accomplished in July 1998 in 74 days, 20 hours, 58 minutes, traveling more than 22,600 nautical miles (41,855 km). This achievement set a new Guinness World Record for a powered vessel. However, on 27 June 2008 Earthrace (later renamed Ady Gil), the biodiesel powered wave-piercing trimaran, set a new world record when it docked at the Vulkan shipyard in Sagunto, Spain after completing a circumnavigation in just 60 days 23 hours and 49 minutes. The design of the vessel was evaluated and proven by hydrodynamic tank testing and a 21.3 m (70 ft) scale prototype named the iLAN Voyager completed sea trials to demonstrate the advantages of the concept. The Adventurer is equipped with state-of-the-art navigation and communications equipment.

Source? I have a really hard time believing they achieve any success with their passive aggressive techniques.

fouling their propellors and hurling stink bombs is hardly passive aggressive. within the quasi-compliance of legality within maritime law, they do a pretty good job of being disruptive

we can see that Sea Shepherd began its campaign when whale catches were at their lowest, and catches have increased since then. Despite their claims of preventing whaling, we can see that more whales were killed per year after 2004 than any year before 2004. In other words, more whales are dying on Sea Shepherd’s watch.

I wasn't aware they "foul propellors," but hurling stink bombs is the definition of passive aggressive, especially when they are hurled at people who smell rotten fish guts all day.

Yeah but what about the stinky bombs hitting whale carcasses? I have no clue what they use but it might not be the best for the meat? I'm kind of reaching here but there may be a valid reason...
EDIT: ive never actually seen the show so I really have no clue, I might go find an episode or two now lol.

keep in mind the japs have aggresively ramped up their whaling fleets. reading the japanese seaman's union website they pretty much say they're training people up for jobs that dont exist to encourage growth in the whaling industry. that chart goes back to 1996, 1994 was when the "research" whaling started in the antarctic.
There's a lot of politics not just in the antarctic but coastal whaling that the japanese do especially around that time of the spike in 2005-2007. The IWC rules are forever changing and being challenged and reviewed, nevertheless I still firmly believe that the Sea Shepherd work is something that the rest of the fucking world is too gutless to do, we'll go to war over "WMD'S" that do not exist, but wont step in and impose legitimate diplomatic pressure over a clear exploitation of a loophole for the mass slaughter of a defenseless species in the name of a lie just for the sake of killing them

You realize the research boats are thinking the same thing, right? And they would be better equipped, too.
