just a few things.. and im not trying to be negative in anyway
why did you choose popcorn? there are far better ways to go about this hobby, especially for a first timer.
5 days isn't long at all, this is the kind of hobby where you need to be very patient.
the tin foil doesnt need to be on the jar, and from what i can see, there looks to be too much moisture in those jars.
if i were you, id search this forum for a better tek involving a different grain. research a little, and then restart your efforts. in the long run, youll be glad you did.

When I was first learning about / considering growing I looked for tutorials on youtube. There is a guy who has a popcorn tek video and it can look really appealing to newcomers like myself who are looking for simplicity.
As for the pictures I can't see anything man. I agree that those grains look way too wet though. Hope these ones work out but I would definitely start up another grow right away in case this doesn't pan out. Search for 'let's grow mushrooms' and buy the video. If you follow that exactly how they say you're basically guaranteed to have more mushrooms than you know what to do with.

youtube is a terrible source of information.
Popcorn is unpopular on shroomery because we have learned of better grains.
Your jars look too wet. Popcorn can be difficult to sterilize because of the size of the grain. You may be growing bacteria.
Best advice, use WBS, RGS, rye berries, or BRF cakes(aka PF Tek).
There are many methods (teks) but the predominate teks used on shroomery are WBS spawned to monotubs using CVG, Rye Berries spawned to monotubs using CVG, or BRF cakes fruited in a SGFC.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, then you have not used the search feature in the top right corner of your screen. Use that and it will become more clear. There are countless posts on how to use/do all 3 three of these teks.
Good luck and do your research on shroomery. When using the search feature, consider the age of the post. I usually only look back 2 years and look for the "trusted Cultivator" tag.

Exactly this.
I saw a video on youtube of how to unlock a car door with a tennisball that had 10's of thousands of views. Still complete shit.
