Habitat: Landscaping bark.
Gills: similar or slightly lighter than cap.
Stem: similar or slightly lighter than cap.
Cap: yellow orange-tan 1mm to about 1/2 inch at most
Spore print color: light orange
Bruising: No color change was observed.
Location: Washington state.

too young to say for sure but most likely its hypholoma fasciculare.

I wonder where the light orange spore print statement is coming from. Those in the picture sure aren't dropping spores yet.

Looks too orange to be Hypholoma fascicular. I've only ever seen it bright yellow.

I'm assuming the color is off in the picture, since it makes them look downright pink on my display, but the description says yellow orange-tan, which is definitely consistent.
I expect they look at least a little more like this, which is not terribly uncommon.

Hypholoma sublateritium is possible, but then we have the opposite problem; too much yellow. It would not quite be what is being described.

The color in the picture is right on maybe just a hint more orange but they turn tanish when they start to wilt. Not very yellow.
Now that you mention it the paper might have absorbed some color of the mushroom because there wasn't much of a print.

Well, I still put it between Hypholoma fasciculare and Hypholoma sublateritium. If there's not much yellow than the later starts making more sense.
