Hey everyone how are we all?! I've completed several sucessful PF TEK grows and am now experimenting with casings! I have done a simple 4"x6"x2" plain verm and hydrated brown rice casing (sterilised of course) with straight verm on top, I kept casing in its container in the FC for 3 days exposed to light then took him out of the container to find 50 or so pins ! So scraped of exsess verm and put him on a piece of glad wrap back in the FC and misted... So here's the results:

Oh also, when I'm misting should I must my fruits directly? I've been misting them until they glisten and within an hour they have already obsorbed it so I'm presuming it would not be un-benifitial, thank you in advance for any helpful critisizim and feed back

Good job buddy, yes, mist the substrate and pins directly, with a fine mist until they glisten, then fan out the chamber.
Mist again once the water you previously misted has evaporated.
Oh yea, and....

RogerRabbit said: You guys seriously need to stop referring to your substrate trays as 'casings'. That is an incorrect term unless all you have is a casing layer and no manure, grains, or anything. Nobody grows mushrooms on 'casings', period.
The casing layer is only the top layer on a colonized bulk substrate, nothing else. 'Casing' sure as hell isn't a name for a mushroom growing project. RR

Ok sounds great guys and thank you for all the information, has been deeply appreciated and also sorry for the term mix up guys :/ I have pretty much developed my mycology vocabulary from endless hours researching on this site, just done some more and seen that my mix up has occurred a number of times, maybe I can make myself a task of trying to emphasising this difference as I understand this type of problem must be frustrating to always be dealing with haha, any thank you all so much again, I'm sure you'll be hearing from me soon, and I'm more than happy to keep people updated if they would like. Happy days everyone!!
Sillycybe
Well here's the update of my substrate tray if anyone is interested
