Agreed, And I can't remember if you are or not, Alan, but if you aren't using a full frame camera I'd go with the 35mm instead. Both are super sharp, even wide open, and give an awesome bokeh.

Its really bad. It is difficult to stand anywhere in the park and look in any direction and not see evidence of illegal logging. There are two types - the guys who cut down smaller trees with hatchets and the guys who use chainsaws to get the big ones. I have heard both but have not had success catching anyone yet. It is fun to keep trying though.
