I wouldn't really rocommend it yet I find myself across the globe from my girl. We talk frequently and tried doing some video call kinky stuff. I didn't really like it though wasn't the same.
I've gone out with this girl for long time. She loves me to fucking death and I told her it was okay of she wanted to break up but that I didn't want to and neither did she. But hey shit can still happen, I'm not going to let myself down if things don't work out.
How long are you and your other going to be separated? And what's your relationship like

our relationship is really good. ive known her for almost a year now and we are both very much in love. we talk on the phone most of the day and video chat. she flew up to see me and we recently spent the week together. i plan on flying down to see her in November where im going to look for a job. we want to move in together. this is my first ever Long Distance Relationship and i think hers too. we've been through some minor bumps but nothing to bad. overall i actually have faith in this relationship. if you would have asked me a year or so ago i would have been a firm believer that Long Distance Relationships would never work but it seems like its happening to me

In my experience, 9 of 10 LDRs don't last more than a few months.

Oops. No, haha. I'm often seeing my friends moving around the country and dating people from conventions and parties, and then turn it into a LDR when they have to leave and before you know it they're history.

I think it depends alot on how long the "long distance" is. In my personal experience, I have tried both...the first thing I'll say is that they had better be smokin hot relationships...like you can't keep your minds off each other type. The long long type (workable by airline only) has a slim chance to work if neither want to eventually move. The other type that you can be in each others company within a couple hours drive can work ...I have been in a relationship for 1-1/2 years where I work and live in one city during the week and spend weekends with her in hers. It is tough at times, but we love each other like crazy and have vowed to make it work...with the understanding that eventually we will live together full time...maybe at a place halfway between us.

i've been in a long distance relationship for over a year now. Yeah it fucking sucks and its extremely hard. But its coming to an end now ( the long distance part not the relationship) and its definitely worth it in my case.

i think it really depends on how far the distance is. or if travel is possible for either person. if it's just maybe 2-3 hours at the most, i think that or anything shorter is definitely doable. but if the only way to get to each other is by a plane, then either someone needs to have the $$$ to fly back and forth or someone's gonna have to move.

I've seen too many examples that it is possible to not renounce my original beliefs on the issue. Which does not mean to say that I think they are likely to succeed. Just that they can to a greater extent than I thought, which was just about zero.
