N. Georgia oysters and possible actives?
    #19021272 - 10/23/13 07:23 PM (10 years, 3 months ago)

First two pictures seem very much like oysters. The only thing throwing me off is a fuzziness toward the back end that connects to the tree. Found on old dead log. Most likely pine. Smell like oyster but just not sure about that fuzz.

The last three pics are of a few old clusters I found growing in a damp area against an old wood retaining wall in my yard. Hiding under ivy. Spore print is black/dark brown. Bruise seems to be a greenish blue. Hollow stem. Possibly Gymnopilus sp.?

The second batch is Hypholoma fasciculare.  Not sure what to call the first ones, do they have serrated gills?
