You are
I say I am just as bad, and then you say:
" you are an equal harbinger of ignorance. stop thinking you're so higher and mightier then everyone, yo."
Which tells me you do not understand what you read
no, i understood it, and i deny your faulty rhetorical apology. i don't know what anyone else's say is, but... me... i really don't buy it.
you said and i quote "I guess I lack the self control to not speak up when I feel people are being ignorant. I am trying to work on it . . . There are SO MANY ignorant people though it is so hard sometimes"
so you're pinning this on who then...? who are the ignorant people making you act up, broseph? who?
it's me isn't it? well, like i said, pinning your actions on me, isn't going to justify your ignorance. neither is a pathetic apology.

How is telling people not to be judgmental, and to live their lives not worrying about what others do, . . . How exactly is that atoning?
I would really like to hear your explanation
you're not just saying those things, in any place in the thread, but except when you're preaching to me about how i should feel about my comments.
that's the only time you're pandering "i'm telling people not to be judgmental, and to live their lives not worrying about what others do".
and you're preaching that to me, solely, trying to get me to understand you, even whilst you admit, that you think i couldn't possibly.
you're a hypocrite dude. it's ok. we all can be sometimes. maybe THAT's what you're trying to atone for...

Funny, I do not remember apologizing . . .
And yes you were being ignorant by saying everybody who would perform a certain action is an idiot. You know nothing about those people and you know nothing of the decisions and actions leading up to that event. So for you to say they are an idiot is extremely ignorant.
Which does not make you inferior than me in any way, just a little less educated and expereinced
Time will change and even reverse many of your present opinions, so do not worry. You won't be stuck like this forever. You have the potential to change

no, i do know of the decisions and actions leading up to buying an expensive name brand belt... you're an BEING AN* idiot, and you're trying to compensate.
and failing miserably. take up Yoga... a sport... liven up your daisies with some sprucing... who cares? just don't spend a bunch of money on a name brand, when you can but an equally expensive and well made piece of clothing, that isn't from a famous Rapper's name brand; while you try not to absorb yourself into the fantasy that wearing a famous person's Belt-make, is going to score you cool points and make you look sexier, all at the same time, from buying a BELT.
you're over simplifying things.
besides, i was joking... there were plenty of other people posing as aficionados of sleek expensive attire, and plenty of other people posting about how lewdly expensive and unnecessarily so, the belt is. i thought i make a partition in that particular dichotomy.
* correction, jeez, i should really be more specific.

yep, we're done here. God, you're insufferable, you know that? you're still unable to admit that you've got a grudge against some personal impression of me, while you don't even know me, and are preaching that i shouldn't do such things, while you're doing it yourself?

No need to back up what is just common sense.
Look man, for real, I have no hard feelings or ill will toward you. I was merely trying to make the point that just because someone buys an expensive piece of clothing, that does not make them any less intelligent. But knowing now that you were just joking, in hindsight, I wouldnt have taken it that far . . .
Now all that aside, if I saw you in real life I would totally sit down and smoke a bowl with you. Who knows, being that were both stubborn bastards we might get along in real life. And if you didnt want to smoke with me I would gladly give you weed to go smoke elsewhere.

oh, that's cool. the reasoning for buying expensive pieces of clothing is intrinsically less intelligent, then buying non-expensive pieces of clothing, not too mention the significant increase in intelligence, from simply buying some nice and maybe expensive clothing without the presumed notion that buying "name brand" makes it better, when in actuality, the "name" does nothing to make the clothing item better; and if it's merely quality you're looking for, then you shouldn't be concerned with some famous persons name on it. especially if that person isn't a fashion mogul.
i mean, it doesn't really make the person an idiot per se. i mean, shit... even an idiot can learn to tie his own shoes. YAY!1
same thing with person being able to realize that the "name" in "name brand" means nothing when the clothing is overpriced for it's quality.
i mean, that's the only point i was trying to make.
it's not like you're a flat out dribbling retard, the instant you decide to do one silly maybe slightly idiotic thing. it's what makes us human. it's a good thing, to be done in subtle ways like "hey i just spend 400 dollars on shoes! wicked, go me!1" and not like "i just cut that guy off, because it made me feel good".
it's not like you make one little idiotic thing and make your whole self-image go from awesome, to boy howdy retarded. that was my point.
well, that was my point, after i was joking around trying to make the people pandering about the value of expensive garb, ask themselves "why are they selling it then"?
i mean, if anything, aside from that, my only other point of contention was, "gee, i hate name brand clothes".
oh well, anyways. i agree with your sentiment, and i presume that this arguing will now cease. seeing as though, i've explained that me calling someone an idiot, doesn't mean that they are an idiot, or that i think they're an idiot. just that i think what they're doing is stupid... and even if i'm wrong... i am allowed to have an opinion... even if it's going to be misconstrued in every possible conceivable way.

Really? You write all that and expect me not to respond, afer all we've been through.
I am so glad you are such an authority about which clothes buying practices do or do not make you an idiot.
If I ever want to buy something without looking like an idiot I will be sure to consult you first
But really, nothing about buying clothes, be it expensive name brand or something cheap, has anything to do with intelligence. Who said he was looking for quality, maybe he didnt give a shit about quality. Maybe he just wanted to wear what a rapper he likes is wearing.
He is living life the way he wants and it is not your place to judge what clothes people should buy or how much they should pay.
You say you are joking, but then you type up all that shit. Pretty far to take it for a joke . .

nothing MAKES someone an idiot, unless they're already an idiot.
THAT'S MY POINT.
and it is a joke, because of the way you're reacting.
i never SAID THE GUY WAS AN IDIOT, OR THAT ANYONE WAS
i'm assigning the word "idiot" to the action, not the person.
and i've also specified, about ten thousand different times, that, "just because someone does something idiotic, doesn't make them an idiot".
and also that, "i am allowed to have an opinion, and i think that spending that much money on clothes is a futile waste of time, cloth, and perseverance. but that's only my opinion, that i think that's idiotic, but that doesn't make anyone an idiot, because of how i think on the matter".
