is Bitstamp safe to use?
    #19020936 - 10/23/13 06:37 PM (10 years, 3 months ago)

My friend is wanting to buy some bitcoins. Neither one of us has ever bought them before. He made a wallet on blockchain and it says one of the ways to fund it is bitstamp. Does he just buy the bitcoins with his bank account? Is this safe? Is there another way we should be doing it?

Green dot card would be smarter.

How do you use the greendot card to fund it? It says you can use these ways to deposit bitcoins and it lists bitstamp, bitcoin store, and gyft shop now

Bitstamp is the second biggest exchange.  It's definitely safe in terms of not losing your money.

Use the green dot card on bitstamp, you don't wasn't it connected to anything with your address.

It really depends on what you intend to do with the BTC.
