First signs of growth

So ive done atleast 3-4 grows so far and have seen a good amount of myce. And just wanted to get some other input. I obviously know how to do what im doing, but possibly not to the fullest. I always follow precudures step by step and have developed a few of my own ways to do things. And things usually turn out grand . But ive always noticed people posting pictures saying "36hours after inoculation", and there is sign of growth already, and a good decent amount for inoculation point. Or 48 hours after inoc! and they always have good looking growth. I was thinking, it always takes me like atleast almost a week to see any sign if not longer.
Why may this be?
I was thinking, maybe im not getting the right moisture content or im not doing something specific right. Even though my grows are still being successfully completed. that doesnt mean i could still be doing something wrong. But i also know that all spores could take different times to do their thing. But maybe theres a better recipe of something that people are doing that im not to get faster incubation times?

36 hours from spores? That seems unheard of for myc.. Usually takes mine at least 7 days. Now as for a g2g, those recover quite quickly.. well within 36 hours.

[Let me preface this with "I am a noob"]
There are a lot of variables, as you note. Syringe/LC viability, room temperature, jar temperature, contamination factors, type of substrate, degree of GE, substrate composition/recipe, etc
That being said, I am now on my third go-around and the earliest I have observed growth in a BRF jar is 96 hours.
You're asking because you want to expedite the process, I take it? If what you are doing is working, you could keep on keepin' on. Or, if you want to experiment, you could maybe first start with re-examining your composition of your substrate, especially focusing on your h2o content. It is wise to modify only one variable at a time, otherwise it will be hard to make inferences...
Hope this helps

Okay thank you for clearing this up for me cuz i thought that was so as i've always took a week for signs of growth.. thank you very much! and yes its from spores.. it must of been an agar wedge or LC inoculation in the post. like i said i could be wrong. so thanks man.

now that you mention it it could be my water content. i can never get my grains right(even though they always work) i soak them usually between 12-24 hours, usually no longer than 16-18 honestly. And then i bring them to an almost boil for about 5-10mins then put them in two different strainers and shake them for like 30mins on and off every 1-5mins. until steaming and after it passes a toilet paper test.
as well as BRF goes. I put a cup of verm, 1/4 cup of water, mix it up good, then the other 1cup of verm. and then another 1/4water and mix well, then the last 1/4 of water totally 1 cup of water. which makes 2 cup verm, 1 cup water, and then i mix my 1 cup BRF so it doesnt get all clumpy with the water. and i mix it well.
But its been a while since i read anything on moisture content. so if anyone knows a post i can be linked to or could just give me a idea of what the correct moisture content would be.
and another thing i think im doing wrong is the amount of water. so thank you for pointing that out. my dry verm layer on top always gets wet where it is touching the BRF substrate. obviously condensation, but it seems like way to much
