Weird fruit bodies
    #19019084 - 10/23/13 12:09 PM (10 years, 3 months ago)

Found these mushrooms in northwest British Columbia, a hundred meters or so off of the Skeena River. They look cool so I was wondering if anyone would know what they are.

Same mushroom, but with flash on.

The last two are just for fun. I think the bracket fungi is Fomitopsis pinicola.

Turns out the google image search for 'coral fungus' and 'fractal fungi' are pretty sweet.

The first is one monumentally huge Ramaria.

The third photo is a Hericium species.  Compare with Hericium coralloides.
