You might want to look up the CIA papers on scopolamine. They tested it as a truth drug.

LD50 refers the point at which 50% of the people taking it will die. Therefore the actual lethal dose is much lower, as most people don't want to gamble with 50% odds of surviving.

The Merck Index often has animal LD50 data for compounds, but mine (12th edition) doesn't have it for hyoscyamine.
For scopolamine: 3800 mg/kg subcutaneously in rats, as the hydrobromide trihydrate.
For atropine: 622 mg/kg orally in rats, as the sulfate monohydrate.
Sounds like atropine is by far the bigger killer gram for gram (at least for rats.)

Um, I read a trip report where someone consumed 1.5 mg of scopolamine. It's sold over-the-counter for motion sickness in Britain and Australia in a dose range of about one hundred to several hundred micrograms.

Exactly. LD50 is the dose which kills 50% of people. You still might die at a lower dose, it's just less likely. Do you want to take that risk?

Are you suggesting that contradicts what I said?
