I have never subscribed to the notion of possessing a "favorite song" I think it's ridiculous and extremely limiting. However, for the past week or so.....I have to say that I definitely have a favorite song. It's just what connects with me the most at this short period of my life. It just expresses things that I feel at this moment ya know.
It's this:
Marble House by The Knife.
In the past(2-3 years ago) it was Alberto Balsalm by Aphex Twin:
So yeah, post your "favorite" or just something you've been repeatedly listening to recently/

Just copy the link from the video.
Then click the Flash button near the graemlin button. Its an F inside a blue circle. Paste the link where it says URL and there you have it.
By the way, that song is corny and sucks lol.
Oh wow, youtube vids auto paste. I never knew that. I usually use the flash button, but if I just paste the link, it automatically makes the vid.

Favorite changes day in and and day out. Here it is right now.

"Carpet Crawlers" by Genesis (with Peter Gabriel) - listen to that guitar arpeggio!

I can't name one for sure but I really like this one. There is some missing footage at the beginning (thanks to Warner Bros.) but the rest is definitely worth listening to at least once.
It brings back so many memories. I saw it played live 3 times.

I have a few (or a bunch?) that are definitely favorites of mine:
The Mars Volta - Cassandra Gemini
Radiohead - Everything In Its Right Place
Modest Mouse - Cowboy Dan
Majority Rule - It's Too Late
John Coltrane - A Love Supreme (the vid is just part one)
The Locust - How To Become A Virgin
Sleep - Dopesmoker
Pat Metheney Group - The Way Up (vid is just part one)
Nadja - Thaumogenesis
Five of these are quite long; The Mars Volta, Nadja, Pat Metheny Group, Sleep, and Coltrane all clock in at over half an hour. Of those five, four are all complete albums and longer than an hour (TMV being the exception). So I guess that's part of what vaults themselves over most other songs. It's not really a fair competition sometimes to compare an hour long song to a 5 minute song.
