Cooling down the PC

Most people say to just let it cool overnight but I put them in the PC this morning and I'm busy later so would it be okay to just let it cool for 4 hours then inoculate them? It's not a big deal, right? It's either that or they'll have to wait until tomorrow morning which is 24 hours of cooling down

wait... your grains will still be too hot. You risk killing off the spores and you won't know for weeks.
Wait the day, its better than taking the risk

I take my jars out as soon as the thing depressurizes.
This usually takes about 30 minutes.
Then I wait until they hit room temp before inoculating.
This usually takes about 4 hours.
If the jars are not cooled to room temp, you risk killing the spores.

Well it's verm and brown rice flour, does that make a difference or should I still wait?

Heat is heat, and spores die from heat.
The substrate is irrelevant.

It depends, do you have your gas exchange ports on the jars yet? if yes
As soon as the pc depressurizes. you can take the weights off to make it quicker. Take them out and let them cool on a towel.

So, in other words it's better to leave it for longer and just let it sit there than to try and inoculate right away? With other stuff I just run water over it and help it cool Should I do that for the jars too? Or should I just stop being impatient and wait until tomorrow?

Well I put holes for inoculation but was told to put masking tape over them while it's in the PC, so they're still over them It's been almost an hour off the heat and it still sounds like the water is boiling

At this point in the process, it would be silly to think he doesn't.
Who makes these holes after sterilization?

Inoculate when it cools to room temp, yes.

Never help the PC cool down....let it do this naturally.
It should only take 30 min as said for the pressure to drop, then open the PC and remove the jars and set them some place to cool.

But it'll be fine if I just leave it for pretty much 24 hours though right? I thought it'd be better to do it right away than to wait longer than 8 hours but if not then I'll just let it chill there until tomorrow

it's sterilized so yes you will be fine. jars sometimes take a month to colonize so 16-24 hrs won't make much difference at all.
