someone has left it there for the entire semester? There's a very nice Patagonia fleece that's chilling in the laundry room for over three weeks now. I folded over the tag so that no one would steal it, and I thought about turning it into student life so the owner could claim it. I already have a nice fleece, but if the owner never picks it up by the end of the semester, can I take it as a unclaimed good?

When I was in kindergarten, I was sitting in the office waiting to be picked up. I saw a stuffed animal sitting by its lonesome.
Its been almost 20 years and I still have that stuffed animal.

Oh I misread that post, I thought you said it's been 20 years since you've SEEN him. I was tearing up imagining the beautiful reuniting of Viva and the plush bear.

Take it. If the person hasn't missed it for this long, surely they won't miss it after you take it. I'm actually wearing a cardigan right now that I found laying around the art building a few years ago. I waited a few weeks and it didn't move, so I had no remorse taking it.
